It’s also possible to simply choose to manually regulate the grind fineness to any of the grinder’s 18 settings, so you can find exactly the correct fineness for your particular coffee beans and your individual taste. The coffee dose can be adjusted as well.
Plus, if you want to brew with beans other than those contained in the hopper, simply place the ground coffee of your choice in the bypass doser.
As well as helping you through programming the coffee machine, the LCD display will provide you with a warning when either or both the water reservoir or bean hopper need to be refilled, and when to carry out cleaning and descaling cycles.
The large removable reservoir holds 60 ounces of water which is sufficient for about 30 espressos or 10 cups of coffee.
The Gaggia Titanium Espresso Machine has an adjustable coffee spout, so you can brew directly into espresso cups as well as larger mugs – a very useful feature.
An active cup warmer is located on the top of the Titanium. With space for up to 6 espresso cups, it helps maintain the best serving temperature for your espresso.
The Gaggia Titanium Espresso Machine is easy to clean. Simply open the front panel and remove the brew group using the thumb release lever. Rinse off with warm water and dry with a soft towel.
There’s a removable used grounds dump box located within the machine which can be easily accessed from the front by sliding out the drip tray. The digital display will indicate when the tray or the dump box need to be emptied.
