ESPRESSO – SHORT BLACK
Espresso is the basis of all cafe style coffee. It is a full-bodied coffee with a layer of cream or Crema as it is more commonly known on top.
By adding different amounts of milk and froth, variations are achieved.
• 90ml in an espresso glass or demitasse cup
• Single espresso shot (30 to 35ml)
LONG BLACK
A standard espresso with hot water. The hot water is added first so that the Crema is maintained.
Serve in a regular coffee mug or cup.

FLAT WHITE
One of the most popular espresso drink recipes, the flat white is an espresso with steamed milk. The layer of frothed milk on top should be minimum 2mm to seal the coffee.

• Serve in 190ml cup
MACCHIATO
Macchiato means “to stain or mark” in Italian. Served as a standard espresso with a dash of milk and a small dollop of froth into the middle of the Crema.

CAPPUCCINO
One of the most popular espresso drink recipes.
Espresso with steamed milk, topped with creamy froth and a dusting of chocolate. There should be approximately two thirds of milky coffee, with one remaining third of froth.
• Single or double shot of espresso
• Two thirds milky coffee
• Serve in 190-240ml cup
• Dust with chocolate
CAFE LATTE
Also very popular among espresso drink recipes.
Espresso with steamed milk served in a glass with a layer of 10mm on top to seal the coffee.
• Single or double shot of espresso
• Steamed milk
• Serve in a 220ml glass or cup
CAFE MOCHA
Made the same way as a cappuccino, but with the addition of drinking chocolate.
The chocolate is stirred into the espresso prior to adding the steamed milk and froth.
• Single or double shot of espresso
• 2 teaspoons of drinking chocolate
• Two thirds milky coffee with one third froth
• Serve in a 190-240ml cup or tall glass
CON PANNA
Espresso topped with lightly whipped cream. Dust with cinnamon or chocolate.
